The FV Makybe BJ is a 34m Purse Seine Vessel with operating history in the Australian Southern Bluefin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna and Small-Pelagic Fisheries. The vessel is heavily constructed and presents in good condition with nil deficiences to the external hull and no evidence of deficiencies to frames and stringers. A recent Condition Survey Report notes good coatings of paint to all internal areas. The vessel has been well-maintained under current ownership.
The vessels machinery, refrigeration and fishing equipment is high-calibre and fit for purpose. Driven by a 1000 HP Cummins KTA 50 and fitted with a Triplex Net Handling and Hauling System, the fishing system is well-proven and efficient. The vessels electronics system compliments the package. The crew accommodation and facilities support extended voyages in offshore conditions.
A Condition Survey Report (Sept. 2022) is available upon request for serious enquiries. Please call Christian Pyke on (+61) 428 233 200 to discuss.
