The FV Gail Jeanette is currently configured for Danish Seine fishing in the Great Australian Bight and has an impressive track recordĀ in the fishery. The vessel has excellent sea-going capability and regularly yields between 8 to 12 Tonne of Flathead per trip (10 to 12 fishing days) with a fuel burn of between 8 to 10 Tonne per trip (danish-seining). The vessel is suitable for a conversion back to demersal-trawling and there is potential for the vessel to convert to pelagic longling with a large fish room, refrigerated brine capacity (approx 44 Tonne) and large aft-deck area.
Results from the Hull Condition Report conducted in May 2020 are available upon request. The next out-of water survey is due in July 2025.
