The FV Tahnee B is a 16m Steel Aft Wheelhouse Vessel currently deep-set bottom longlining from the Port of Eden in NSW. The Vessel has excellent sea-going capability with a significant draft of 2.6m and effective bilge keels making the vessel a safe and stable platform for working southern sea-states.
The current owner has been fastidious in the improvement and upkeep of the Vessel with the engine room and equipment in excellent working order and condition. Recent upgrades and maitenance items to the vessel include a new stern tube, shaft bearing and drip seal installed in 2022, new aluminium doors installed throughout the Vessel, new cannisters installed in a recent fire suppression system upgrade, a new Genset (32 KVA) installed in early 2023 and the auxiliary engine replaced new in 2019.
The Vessel is versatile and suitable for many applications with a large main fish room currently holding 10 Tonne of refirgerated recirculating water. The main room could be converted to holding live fish (Coral Trout) or Rock Lobster and / or remain a refigerated brine for premium market fish.
